What is Reluvved?

Reluvved helps parents pass along children's items that have been outgrown to other families in their local area.

Think of it as a friendly exchange between parents. Your kids outgrew that stroller? Someone nearby probably needs it. Looking for books for your toddler? A family down the street might have a whole collection ready to pass on.

How do I sign up?

  1. Download the Reluvved app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
  2. Sign in with your Google or Apple account
  3. Add your approximate location (we use your ZIP code to show you nearby items)
  4. That's it! You're ready to browse.
  5. A subscription ($2 a month) is required to post and bid for items.

Do I need to add my children's profiles?

It's optional, but we recommend it! Here's why:

  • Better recommendations: Our "Stuff for My Kids" feed shows items that match your children's ages. We will also notify you of recently posted items so you have a better shot at making a claim.
  • Faster filtering: Easily see what's relevant instead of browsing everything
  • Smarter AI: When you list items, our AI can better estimate age ranges

You can add or update kids' profiles anytime from your Account settings. We try to minimize the information we collect and only use it to improve your experience. We will never sell any of the information we collect on the app to any third parties. You can see our Privacy Policy for more details or read our anti-enshittification pledge.

What should I do first?

If you're looking for items:

  1. Browse the "For You" tab to see recommended items for your kids
  2. Tap the heart icon to save the item or tap the item and make a bid
  3. The giver will review all interested families and choose who to give it to based on factors like distance, reputation, and bid amount

If you're giving away items:

  1. Go to "My Stuff" and tap the camera icon
  2. Snap a photo – our AI will write a description for you!
  3. Review and post it (you can edit the AI's description if needed) - Note: Once an item is posted it will disappear from your inventory unless you delete the post!
  4. Wait for families to make bids, then choose who gets it

Is there a tutorial or walkthrough?

Yes! The app includes a quick onboarding guide when you first sign up. You can also:

  • Tap the info icons (ℹ️) throughout the app for contextual help - Need to implement this.
  • Visit the Help section in Settings for detailed guides
  • Watch our video tutorials (coming soon!)

What if I have questions while using the app?

  • Check this FAQ first – we cover most common questions
  • Use the "Share Feedback" button in the Help section
